Journey Towards Home | Part 2

Journey Towards Home

19 December at 4:30 pm I bid farewell to my friend and boarded a metro from Anand Viharđźš… terminal to New delhi railway station. It was an exciting journey for me as I have never Travelled alone in a metro. The Confusion, the thrill, everything was coming at the same time. Somehow with the help of locals I boarded a metro from anand vihar to Rajiv chowk and from there to New Delhi railway station.

I felt immense relief after I arrived at the railway station. I called my parents upon my safe arrival and sat on the private lounge to kill the time. It was a long journey where I found many passengers, just like me waiting for there train.

Again I felt loss on remembering about my own Journey from sahibganj a small town to the most renowned University LPU🏫. I again reminisced about my journey. The distance I travelled from my comfort zone to something of my own. Somehow the  time passed it was 11:30, My train was on the platform and I too was on that platform, the journey was coming to an end. The train will take me to my destination, My Home. The train was not only taking me too my home town It was taking me back to my comfort zone, back to my mother's love.

As It was already late many companion of my compartment were already in deep sleep. My intervention in their coach waked them up and looking upon me they again tried to fall back to sleep. I settled my luggage and went to my seat. I too made my bed and went to sleep.

Next day I woke up at 10:00 am and had some Omelette and bread and started a book called "Psychopathology of Everyday Life" by Sigmund Freud. I enjoyed delicious meals which were offered by the IRCTC and even some here and there snacks from the local vendors. The time passed without I realizing it and I was at my destination. I deboarded the train and waited for my dad to receive me. Seeing him I feel a sense of relief and Happiness.

And that's how I complete my Journey towards homeđź’“.
